From events at infodesign.org Mon Dec 5 19:06:01 2011 From: events at infodesign.org (IDA event announcements) Date: Mon, 5 Dec 2011 19:06:01 +0000 Subject: [IDA Events] IDA Event: 'Push the Button' London film premier Message-ID: The next evening event from the Information Design Association: * * '*Push the Button' London film premier* *From 6.30pm * *Wednesday 18 January 2012. * 'Push the Button' is an inventive and entertaining French film about user manuals, made for TV. The documentary 'Appuyez sur le bouton : au pays des modes d'emploi' was produced and broadcast across France in 2008. The IDA has got together with the Institute of Scientific and Technical Communcators (ISTC) to have it subtitled in English. "Push the Button" is an excellent little film: telling the story of how our lives have become so dependent on and entwined with the technical instructions that support so much of life's stuff. We will also be showing some short animated films from the Isotype Institute. We're meeting at the Freeword Centre, 60 Farringdon Road, London EC1R 3GA at 6.30. The cost is ?7 (+ Eventbrite's booking fee), which includes refreshments. Should be a good evening, with a chance to meet fellow information designers and ISTC members too. *Book here*: http://pushthebutton.eventbrite.co.uk/ ------- Follow us on Twitter: twitter.com/InfodesignUK Email us on: eventadmin at infodesign.org.uk -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
